Chimera (CD)

Michele Sharik, soloist
Michele lives and performs in the San Francisco Bay area

Michele's solo album is unique and interesting, containing arrangements of classical symphonic favorites, with one original piece composed by James Meredith (director of Sonos). Each piece is accompanied -- these instruments include organ, piano, cello, harps, percussion, violin and viola. Highly recommended by Susan Berry.

from the CD liner notes:
"Born and raised in Ohio, Michele moved to the San Francisco Bay area in January of 2002 to join America's premier professional classical handbell ensemble, Sonos. In addition to touring internationally with Sonos, she teaches handbell lessons and workshops, appears as clinician at regional handbell events, and serves as Director of Handbells for two San Francisco Bay Area churches.

As a Handbell Solo Artist, Michele is renowned for her graceful and flowing performance style and is increasingly in demand to take the stage across the United States, Canada, and abroad. She has performed in over 20 US states as well as in London and Bristol (England), Dunblane (Scotlane), and Hong Kong (China). This is her first solo CD."
